  • First Annual Business Meeting held April 9, 1976 at the Sheraton Inn, So, Portland

  • Maine ASCD Constitution approved at Annual Meeting.

  • Maine ASCD Committees established: Ad Hoc, Membership, Legislative Action, Publications,

  • Site Visitation, and Conference Planning.

  • Logo developed.

  • First issue of newsletter, "The Maine ASCD'er," published, May 28, 1976.

Maine ASCDMaine ASCD is governed by a 16 member Board of Directors. The Board is divided into the Leadership Team and Members-at-Large. The actions of the Board of Directors are regulated by the Maine ASCD Constitution and Bylaws.
