Maine ASCD

All registrations are accepted on a full payment-first-serve basis. Full payment - check, credit card (Visa or MasterCard), or Maine ASCD Voucher Account number is needed to hold registrations.

Purchase orders are accepted with an expectation that they will be paid within 30 days of the issuance of our invoice. Persons registering with a purchase order will have the registration held until 30 days following the issuance of the invoice. If the institution issuing the purchase order fails to make full payment within the 30 day grade period, the registration will be cancelled. Registration via Purchase Order DOES NOT confirm registration; only PAID registrations are confirmed.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Program Cancellation: Maine ASCD reserves the right to cancel programs because of low registration or other events beyond its control.

Inclement Weather: Our policy is to not cancel any event unless there is a declared emergency by safety officials OR if the speaker cannot make it to the event.

If an event has been cancelled (or a delayed start) due to inclement weather, we will try to get an announcement onto the various TV news programs. Maine ASCD will contact participants and post the information on this website and on our voice mail system (207-729-6652).

No Show: If you are unable to attend, call, write or e-mail Maine ASCD before the event deadline date, to request a credit voucher, or to arrange to send a non-registered person in your place.

Refunds: Individuals canceling their registration must notify Maine ASCD in writing (fax or e-mail acceptable) at least 14 days prior to the program in order to receive a refund. Some events may have differing policies, read the registration materials carefully. Maine ASCD reserves the right to offer credit vouchers in place of cash refunds. Conference registration fee includes $25.00 non-refundable processing cost.

Student Member Rates

Student Member Rates are only for individuals who are Student Members of Maine ASCD. Please see information regarding Student Membership to determine if you are eligible for Student Member status.
